How should I display my art?

Paintings that are on gallery-wrapped canvas can be displayed unframed or framed, without glass. These are high-quality canvases with the staples on the back where they are not visible. The edges of all canvas paintings are always painted so that a frame is totally optional.

Paintings on MDF board should be framed without glass.

Paintings that are on watercolor paper should be framed under glass. You can easily purchase a commercial frame and bring both the frame and the painting to a framing company and they will be able to provide high-quality framing to enhance the painting. Miniatures are best displayed by being surface mounted on a piece of matting cut to the size of the frame and then matted and framed so that the entire painting is visible.

Is your art copyrighted and what does that mean?

All art is copyrighted by the artist. That means that only the artist has the right to reproduce the work in any way. For example, if you wanted to reproduce a painting and use it on a flyer advertising a community event, that is a copyright violation.

Can I reproduce your art for a non-profit cause?

Please contact us and we will consider it.

Can I link to your site?

Yes. You can link to any page on our site although we prefer that you link to the main page, www.valry.com. Please do not link to any images. Please do not copy an entire page to your web site.

Is it safe to purchase online from your site?

We use PayPal to handle our shopping cart. We have used them for several years and have been very satisfied with their security.

I don't want to use PayPal to purchase from you. Is there any other way to purchase your art?

Yes. You can create your checkout form and then print it and mail it with a check or money order. If you send a check there will be a delay of 10 business days until the check clears before shipping the art to you. Or you can e-mail me (valry@valry.com) using the "E-mail inquiry" button that is right beside the "Purchase and Pay" button and when I receive your e-mail I will contact you to work out the details from there.

Can I use a credit card and purchase from you directly without using PayPal?

No.

Do you offer a guarantee?

If you are not satisfied with the art you may return it (you will need to pay shipping costs) within 30 days. When I receive it back in the same condition that it was in when I shipped it to you, I will refund your purchase price LESS the actual shipping/handling costs paid to ship the piece to you.
