The REAL STORY about Valerie

 

 

Valerie was born in Kentucky and grew up traveling throughout the United States. One of her earliest memories is sitting in her father’s lap while he taught her the basics of drawing, blocking, and perspective. As a teenager she won several local art awards and was in a variety of art classes. However, an early marriage interfered with her developing a career. Eleven years later, divorced, with two young children, Valerie faced the reality of working for a living. The years passed and Valerie’s three son’s grew and she returned to her early love of art. Working full time as a computer technician, Valerie began to seriously study art on her own and to develop her talent. Other than art, she spends her time playing with her dachshunds, is a volunteer with CASA, and does her best to keep life interesting for her husband and mother.
