I was in Florida on business and spent one delightfully lazy afternoon on the beach. I was walking through the waves snapping pictures of the water and the people enjoying the lovely day. (One man asked me if I was afraid that my camera would be damaged by the water. I responded that I was terrified of that possibility.) This absolutely beautiful girl was in one of my random photos although I must admit to some artistic license in removing the goggles that were draped around her neck and portraying her lovely hair as though it were dry instead of dripping sea water.

 

 

This painting is 3 1/2 inches by 4 3/4 inches on 140# cold-press watercolor paper. It was created with graphite and pastel dust in 2007. It is professionally framed in a custom-made frame.
