I am fascinated by all styles of art and appreciate the work of all artists. I recently was the (unintentional!) creator of quite an energetic uh... (discussion? argument? cat fight?) difference of opinion as to the inclusion of tattoo style art in the "fine art" category. I don't believe in exclusion or marginalization of ANY genre or ANY group of people. I also strongly believe in recycling and caring for our planet. So this unique line of FINE ART offerings was begun. This offering is, of course, my version of the classic Heart with Wings tattoo.

This painting is the size of a smashed aluminum drink can. I picked it up in the parking lot of a local business. Then I washed it and took a steel brush to one side to create the painting surface. It is painted with acrylic paints and will be coated with a generous application of high-gloss acrylic varnish. It will be mounted on a sheet of plexiglass (so that you can see the unmodified back side of the aluminum drink can) and framed in a natural finish wood frame.
