Soaring

This piece won an Honorable Mention at the Prairie Winds Art Center's 8th Annual Miniature Show. The boy is definitely having a good time. It's one of those perfect days and he's taking full advantage of it. Running, and letting his imagination run free and true. He's flying through the day, flying in his dreams, and flying through his youth.

This painting is 4 inches by 3 inches on 140 pound watercolor paper. It was painted in 2007 with graphite and pastel on 140# hot-press watercolor paper. It is professionally framed in a custom frame.
