This is a small piece with a large presence. Many, many very thin layers of oil paint have been scumbled on to a very slick surface to achieve this effect. (By the way, I realize it is not signed - yet. I often do not sign pieces until after they are framed and I have a little time to look at them. It will be signed before it is sold.)

 

 

This painting is 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches on MDF board. It was created with oil paint in 2008. It is professionally framed in a simple wooden frame with a wooden mat.
