Paper Sculpture -- it's my latest passion. I have been dreaming of masks - and so I am starting a line of paper sculpted masks. Yes, it's make totally out of paper. Heavy weight watercolor paper painted with metallic paint then hand cut, folded, shaped, and glued. Well, almost totally paper, okay, there are metal rings between the chain maille hanging from the bottom and between the cubes that make up the "horn-rings", and there are metal eyeletts for the ribbons to tie it on with, and there is a little cloth - the ribbons and a velvet lining making it comfortable to wear. The mask is surprisingly sturdy. It is varnished so it can be dusted.
