Illuminated Golden Banner Paper sculpture is such a unique experience, and here I've combined it with painting and light to give a new experience in depth and shape, concealing and revealing, and changing with the ambient light. This is a work done in watercolor on watercolor paper. The paper was then cut and shaped and varnished on both sides creating a surface that can be (gently) cleaned. It was then framed and lit from the back with a bright LED. (The LED light is powered by 2 AA batteries which can be changed as needed. The LED is safe and will not create a fire hazard.)
