This series of paintings draws on my past and explores new places. Even more so than my other abstract work, they grow slowly, very slowly, and without conscious advance thought or planning. This series focuses on creating spaces that expand into the distance. Utilizing watercolor and mostly wet on dry techniques, depth is created and then pushed even further.

This painting is 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches and is painted with Watercolor paints on 140 pound hot-press Fabriano watercolor paper. It was painted in 2009. It is surface mounted and then matted and framed.
